What We Collect

When you book or message us we collect the basics: your name, email address, phone number, stay dates and anything you choose to tell us (dietary needs, arrival times, group details). Our website also collects standard anonymous usage data like page views.

Why We Collect It

Only to run the hostel: confirming bookings, arranging airport shuttles or tours you ask for, and replying to your messages. We may email you about your stay or, if you opt in, occasional news and events.

What We Never Do

We don't sell your data, rent it, or hand it to advertisers. We only share details with third parties when it's needed to deliver something you requested — for example, your name to a tour operator running your safari — or when the law requires it.

How Long We Keep It

Booking records are kept as long as local accounting and tourism rules require, then deleted. Inquiry emails are kept for up to 24 months so we can pick up the conversation if you come back.

Your Rights

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email info@madvervet.com and we'll sort it within 30 days.
